The five Great Lakes became a prime waterway for transportation and commerce during the development of Mid-America and Ontario, Canada. Over a hundred year period more than two hundred lighthouses were built to guide ships into harbors and around hazardous rocky shorelines. This popular calendar features lighthouses from all five of the Great Lakes.
