With well over one hundred lighthouses one can skip around Michigan’s 3,100 mile shoreline and find a great variety of historic lighthouse landmarks. Some may be familiar places while others are located on distant and remote islands. Each has its own unique story and each served a chapter in Michigan’s maritime history. This calendar features lighthouses along the shores of Lake Superior, Lake Michigan and Lake Huron.
